Porous burners are famous for their outstanding advantages as low NO_x emission, wide power modulation and burning of mixtures of very low heating value without any stability problems. The porous burner can be operated with inexpensive natural gas of a technical quality. This is why we are persuing further developement with this method for cracking halogenated Ozone Depleting Substances.
